The Amazing Yarra River Kayak Event
A fun team work experience kayaking down the Yarra River in the city of Melbourne. Part race, part problems solving, part creative and lots of fun. There will be cryptic clues, “fast forwards” – skip a check point, bonus points like sketching the city skyline or naming all the bridges, you cross under, in sequence.
Teams will be established at the start and could be in 2’s, 4’s or 6’s. Team names are created and basic kayaking skills session is conducted before the event commences. All participants will be in double kayaks. Team scheming and plotting is encouraged.
Once the event starts teams will be moving from check point to check point until the final race to North Wharf Docklands (approximately 1km).
