DESCRIPTION: Historically, the Yarra River was the lifeblood of the city of Melbourne. Commentary from the guide brings alive the vibrancy and history of the old port. Get up and close to yachts, ferries and ships while taking in views of Victoria Harbour, South Bank and Westgate Bridge. Paddle under bridges and relax, confident that the area is very protected from ocean waves. Lunch is usually at the rowing boat sheds—Princes Bridge.
