DESCRIPTION: The historic seaside towns of Sorrento and Portsea are endowed with rich maritime and early settlement history. Participants can “pass back in time” as they paddle along the foreshore, observing historical houses along the cliff tops, outdoor swimming enclosures, the former quarantine station and historical ship wreck. As clients move closer to Point Nepean, built up areas are left behind and dolphins, sea eagles, cormorants etc. may be observed. There is scope to do some snorkelling at the lunch spot so bring along some snorkelling gear.
