DESCRIPTION: French Island has one of Victoria’s largest koala colonies and is home to many other animals and birds. Dolphins and seals may also be seen as you paddle along. French Island is one of the more remote areas in Victoria with only 80 people living on an island about twice the size of Phillip Island.
The camp sites are remote and beautiful. There are opportunities to explore the hinterland, including observing a huge eagle's nest. Also take in the views of Phillip Island and Corinella.
