Come on a kayak tour of Melbourne and view the city from a unique angle, that is, from the water. Relax and cruise along and see both old and new areas of Melbourne waterways while hearing vibrant music and stories of the old dock areas. The double kayaks are easy to use, stable and fast. Stop for snack and drink along the way and have a chat to your fellow kayakers, before paddling back through the city.

The Melbourne City Day tour operates Between September and March. (availability subject to tides and water levels).

Meeting location : Boathouse Drive , opposite bank from Federation Square. Look for the yellow kayaks

Departure Time: See booking calendar for your departure time (varies with time of year). Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start time.

Return Time: Approximately 2.5 hours after the start time above.

What to wear & bring: Be sun smart but also prepare in case of rain / cool weather. Please wear / bring:

  • Casual Outdoor clothing suited to the weather

  • Runners/ old shoes

  • Cap or hat with brim

  • Sunglasses

  • Water bottle
