DESCRIPTION: Sorrento and Portsea are both historical seaside holiday resorts endowed with maritime and early settlement history. Students can “pass back in time” as they paddle along the foreshore, observing historical houses along the cliff tops, beach houses and outdoor swimming enclosures along the foreshore. Historical ship wrecks, views to “The Fort” and Mud island are possible while opportunities to see dolphins, cormorants, terns etc.
