Australia’s Best Commercial Sea Kayaking Destinations

Australia’s Best Commercial Sea Kayaking Destinations

I have been sea kayaking since 2008 and have fallen in love with the sport. I started as a whitewater paddler in 1994, but over time I discovered that the ocean offers everything I loved about rivers—adventure, challenge, exploration, and the opportunity to connect with nature and people.

I still enjoy paddling rivers and spending time in my favourite craft, an open Canadian canoe. However, sea kayaking has become my passion and life, and Australia offers some of the finest paddling destinations in the world.

The locations featured here are places I have paddled, places I dream of paddling, and destinations that belong on every paddler's bucket list.
