The Phillip Island full day sea kayak tour offers sheltered conditions for most of the year and ready access to sea caves, cliffs and ocean swells. The added element of working with the tide is also challenging. Sea life abounds with seals, penguins and the occasional pod of dolphins.
LOCATION: Phillip Island Information Centre, on the south side of the main road in Newhaven, Melway reference 532 H8.
DESCRIPTION: Woolamai Waters offers sheltered conditions for most of the year and ready access to sea caves, cliffs and ocean swells. The added element of working with the tide is also challenging. Sea life abounds with seals, penguins and the occasional pod of dolphins. Lunch spot is very scenic and there is potential for snorkelling. Amazing pink granite rocks and craggy cliffs abound, once students leave the lunch spot. Birds fly over head while the kayaks slice through the swell moving towards the “Pinnacles”. If weather does not permit travel in this area, there is the option of Cowes main beach.
GRADE: Novice—years 10 to 12

Sea Kayak Expedition along the scenic east coast of Wilsons Promontory for 6 days. Camping at all the best beaches. Amazing landscape and beautiful beaches. 10 km per day of paddling so plenty of time to fish, snorkel, walk and relax. Boat pick up at the end to take people back to the start. Plus a great chance of seeing whales

Introduction to Sea Kayaking Course for the 16th Septemberl 2018. There are 8 vacancies at the moment. Comprehensive course covering all basic kayaking skills, capsizing plus theory on tide, wind, waves and trip planning. Kayak and kayak gear supplied plus course notes. Kayak Hire is from Abbotsford - Yarra River (all year round). We supply a trolley and are located just 300m from the water. We are open every day in Winter although closed 14 July - 1 August. Call before hand to make sure kayaks are available and make a booking.
