Williamstown Sea Kayak Tour

LOCATION: Meet at the "water's end" of Ann St, Williamstown and park at the "Seaworks" car park.

DESCRIPTION: Start at "Seaworks" which is part of  Williamstown Maritime Precinct. You will firstly "gear up" and then jump on the water to get use to your double sea kayak and practise paddling skills.

Williamstown is an historical sea side town so there is alot to view from the water. Kayak up close to stationary cargo ships, paddle amongst yachts and jetties while ferries and sea planes hustle in and out of this port. Great views of Melbourne City and Westgate Bridge from your sea kayak.

Tour options include paddling over the shipping channel to Sandridge Beach or paddling along the protected waters of Williamstown foreshore. Get a taste for what sea kayaking is all about without travelling to far out of town.

This is a package tour so lunch of fish n' chips and a drink is provided half way through the tour on Williamstown Foreshore. 

After lunch sea kayak over to where navy ships are being built or refurbished.

This is a 3.5 hour tour with 2.5 hours of paddling time.

GRADE: Novice

DURATION: 10:00 am to 1:30 pm

INCLUSIONS: Photos, fish & chips for lunch, drinks and all paddling equipment

Kayak Hire on the Yarra River at Abbotsford (Melbourne)

Kayak Hire is from Abbotsford - Yarra River (all year round). We supply a trolley and are located just 300m from the water. We are open every day in spring. Call before hand to make sure kayaks are available and make a booking. Open every day in April and May 2018.

Kayak into the heart of Melbourne City, along the sheltered Yarra River. Get up and close to yachts, ferries and stationary ships while taking in views of South Bank and the City skyline. Historical commentary is provide along the way. View the sunset at dusk and see the spectacular "fire balls" at the Crown Casino. One the great experiences when in Melbourne for locals and visitors.
